Well, goddam - it's been a year since I last posted a journal.  Shit. I did get me that Cintiq but I've been using it more as a monitor than an art board. I joined Deviant Art in the hopes of awakening some competitive urge to spur me to create more artwork.  But most of the time I come here, I collect art from other users.  96% of what I do is collect art from other artists (see favorites) :D. It's not that I haven't created any art in the last year.  I have. It's just that it's mostly unfinished works.  The artwork I do finish is more like graphic design than traditional art. Hey folks, ... and by folks, I mean Nuclear-Giraffe & Affordable. (Plus whoever else stumbles onto this journal.) I started my account here with the intent of encouraging myself to produce more art - and to do so more often.  Also I hoped to gain insight from my fellow artists.  Well, two months have gone by without a single submission on my part.  :FAIL: :( And I don't know about you guys, but it seems to take me forever to color my illustrations.  ((I use a mouse.))
